1 – Lees so frickin awesome! Someone at Idol just needs to give him a beer to perform with. I love how relaxed and chill he is… He’s gonna win! Just watch! With “DeWyze Ones” supporting him.. we’re gonna take him ALL the way to the end.

2 – He sounds much much better outside the American Idol, hmmm is he that nervous there? But still I looooooove him so much, I know he’s incredible like he is heeere 😀 so comfy

3 – First, Lee is pure talent. He’s a breath of fresh air – just love him! Second….everyone’s talking about how great the Shinedown version is? Shinedown? I’m not old, but I feel like I am with some of these comments – kids, use google…there’s just no beating the original.

5 – I have seen Lee perform this song before while putting forth his best effort. Incredible. With that said If you gave him time to record his cover in the studio I am confident his version would be up to par with Shinedown. Better? Probably not b/c it would b a bit of a different sound so the two would be great in their own ways. However if Lee does decide to take this one live on Idol mark my words–he will kill it!! I know Lee personally and know he is capable.

9 – This is one of my favorites of all time. So down to Earth. I never watch American Idol but im glad i did this year. Lee is amazing. Love the voice and the pulling up the pants thing is cute. You dont need a belt dude. haha

10 – if you know him personally tell him not to cover that song on idol. i like him, but anyone who is a shinedown fan like me will tell you that noone can win in comparison to Brent – even Daughtry tried and didn’t get so good results

13 – He’s singing the Shinedown version here… And to be fair, we were at a bar drinking and singing karaoke… Not on a stage with 30 million viewers…. I’m confident if he sang this for Idol, he would put some more “finesse” into it!

the song is too big for his voice, he goes off couple of times on high notes (and those are the money notes).

18 – He has a TON, and I mean a TON of potential.

He just needs to tweak it and perfect it. He definitely can win this competition. The talent is not very good this year on AI and he is one of the few bright stars in the bunch.
